(More customer reviews)We mistakenly applied this to our polyurethane finished oak floors instead of the Refresher product which we had used before with great results. The floors had never been waxed and only cleaned with the Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner. The first coat came out awful (blotchy and uneven) so we decided to apply a second coat. What a mistake! The results were even worse!
We contacted Bona and found out the only way to strip this awful stuff off was to scrub the floors with ammonia and water. After 8 hours on our hands and knees we are finally back to where we started. The stuff removed was a cheesy-textured grayish beige goop that took considerable scrubbing with a nylon brush to get off.
We have used most other Bona products and have always been satisfied. We have no idea what purpose this product serves in the Bona product line, but if you want dull, dirty looking floors this will certainly do the trick.
