SpotBot Pet Compact Deep Cleaner with Microban Protection Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this cleaner after reading multiple reviews saying how well it cleaned. We have two dogs and two kids so the idea of spot cleaning appealed to us. I will give it credit for being easy to use, lightweight and easy to store, but that's where the positve ends. After cleaning, this machine would leave large colored spots on the carpet. The suction was not very good either, as the spot was often wet for a day or two after cleaning. Other cleaners we have used on the same carpets have only taken a couple of hours to dry. I did read a review stating to use less soap to avoid the spots, which we tried and it still left spots, so I have to say I was really disappointed with this cleaner. We're just happy the store took it back.

Bissell 9351 Fabric & Upholstery Cleaner Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought Bissell's Fabric and Upholstery Cleaner with the brush-top container a few years back. The two cans I bought lasted me a long while, but then I couldn't find it in the stores and was frantic. Nothing I've found works so well. With pets in the house, this little can is the equivalent of a rug scrubber, but I can do small areas instead of the whole rug. It cleans my carpet, spot cleans my light-colored couch after visits from chocolate-loving grandchildren, and I couldn't ask for better performance. The brush top is particularly well designed and sooooooooooooooooo handy. I'm delighted to find this product on Amazon!!

Hoover Steamvac Turbo Hand Tool Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This was a replacement hand tool for one I had broken (don't drop these on a hard surface!). Given that I have an old Steamvac I was not sure that this part would even be available and if it was, that the price would make sense. This was by far the best price on this item that I could find and delivery was rapid-fire quick. The tool is the original manufactured part (OEM), not a knock-off. These hand tools are perfect for stairs, upholstery, tight spots/corners and even vehicles. The spinning brushes do scrub quite well and the suction does a great job of removing the water. This tool must be used with the hose attachment for the Steam Vac and together they will spray clean water with mixed detergent (you control if/when it sprays), scrub your surface, and then vacuum up the mess. Glad to be able to get this replacement part for a better price than the manufacturer or other suppliers and have it arrive in perfect condition so quickly.

BlueMagic 901 Upholstery Stain and Spot Lifter - 8.7 oz. Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My husband started using this in our cars for the random spills. It worked fantastically...then when he cleaned out the area around the dog crates he tried it on some very very old spots...gone completely! So, I brought it indoors and stains that occasionally pop up on carpets? Yep, gone so quickly its almost..magic! then, we happened to try it on a shower door that had stubborn soap buildup that we just couldnt get as clean as we wanted it...It looks like a new glass door!! I cleaned my tile floors in the kitchen, they look like we just layed them and theyve been in this house 25 years! Then because I like to push my luck...my stainless steel in the kitchen got the treatment and voila! They shine like new! I think I'd buy the stock Im that crazy about it. However, I found out our local Wal Mart is no longer going to carry it (yes cause that makes so much sense, discontinue something that actually works) so I will purchase elsewhere. If you've never tried it...you don't know what youre missing..its fabulous!!

Dirt Devil Spot Scrubber Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Oh, how I wish I had checked reviews before I bought this product! Whoever designed this product was apparently a hateful, vengeful person who secretly wants to ruin the day of housewives everywhere. Some of my favorite features of this product are:
When you are cleaning up a disgusting spot of something, this device will randomly spew the dirty water out of the side vents, usually all over your legs as you are crouched over the spot trying to remove it. This happens when the product has a bare tablespoon of dirty water. Would it have been so hard to, I don't know, make the holding tank big enough to hold the dirty water? Or maybe make it where, when slightly full, the dirty water goes ANYWHERE other than on you and your house? Have you ever smelled hot dog urine water that has been steamed out of a vent? That smell will stay in your house for MONTHS, and no amount of spot scrubbing will help.
The scrub brush is pretty much useless, it kind of scrubs the spot, but you have to put so much pressure on the scrubber to make it reach the carpet you end up with a cramp in your wrist. You also can't really get the brush clean, it's in an awkward spot on the device.
You need the strength of a gorilla to pry the plug that keeps the dirty water in the holding tank. (Haha KEEPS it in the tank? What a laugh!) You will have to grab an awkward green tab and yank and pull and curse and...BOOM it pops open and spews that dirty water (what is left of it after the vents steamed it all over you) all over your face.
The price is good, but do you really want to pay money to curse and hate and loath every time your dog makes a piddle on the carpet? This product is poorly designed, I've been using it for 6 months now, and I'm about to throw it in the garbage and buy something else. I won't even give this thing away to someone, there isn't anyone in the world I hate that much.

Hoover Spot Scrubber, FH10025 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)THIS THING IS AWESOME!!!I purchased this to take care of my son's bedwetting accidents when he comes into my room during the middle of the night. It pulls more liquid back out of the mattress than any other spot cleaner or the upholstery attachment from my carpet cleaner. When it arrived, I decided to go back over my mattress to see if it would take out the water marks left from the other machines I'd tried -it took all of them out & left my mattress looking brand new- finished up around 4:30 pm and the mattress was completely dry & ready for bedding well before 8 that same day- not possible with any of the bissel products I tried. The hard surface attachment is a nice feature of well & did a very nice job on the kitchen tile grout.
The only negative/cons I can come up with for this item is the fill line on the dirty reservoir side is a bit lower than what the tank has capacity for, the heads are a little difficult to detach, but I'm more than willing to put up with it for the amount of liquid it pulls out of a fabric surface, and the last would be the length of the hose- it could be a little bit longer to make cleaning items like a mattress easier.
One other word of caution- be prepared for the amount of dirt this thing will pull out of whatever surface you use it on!!!This thing is great!

Dirt Devil PD20005 Hand Held Steamer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this about a month ago to sanitize places that my Haan could not... I read lots of reviews and looked at several handheld steam cleaners and decided on this one... This is so worth the money... The attachments are wonderful and the steam seems endless... I originally bought this to help clean and sanitize my daughter's toys, exersaucer, jumperoo and many more... Not only does it wipe away all the dirt in the tiny crevices, but it works everywhere in the house! I used one of the attachments to clean and sanitize my couch cushions.. not only does it leave it dry to the touch but wow did alot of dirt come off! Comes with a window sweege which works absolute wonders.. I am very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a great steam cleaner with lots of attachments! It has lots of steam and very powerful!

Bissell Little Green ProHeat Compact Multi-Purpose Deep Cleaner, 14259 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)After having a baby with reflux, two cats, a husband, and ME using tan microsuede couches for almost 4 yrs, I was about to pay to have them professionally cleaned. When I looked into the cost of that, I then started looking for upholstery cleaning machines. With microsuede, if you dont remove all of the water, a horrible watermark is left and these compound over time and make the appearance of the fabric look awful. I knew that whatever I purchased was going to have to be able to remove the cleaning fluid AND clean really well.
This product not only meets my standards, but exceeds them! Worked like a charm and will save us tons of money in the future since we have a new baby coming in 6 wks!
FYI, included with the machine is an 8oz bottle of the cleaner (Advanced Stain). I bought a 32oz bottle along with the bissell because I wasn't sure how much I was going to need per cleaning (only a few ozs!!!) and wasn't sure if any came with the machine. The 8 oz. bottle will last me a good amount of time! Just thought I would mention that!
The machine is a little loud (wasn't sure of what to expect- sounds like a vacuum). But, it's worth every penny!!!!!

Folex Carpet Cleaner, 32 oz Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I don't know why this stuff doesn't have a clear monopoly on the carpet cleaning market. I grew up with the white fizzy stuff, and my wife and I have had some stains (from detergent, of all things) that we could NOT get out for the life of us. We were at Target looking at cleaning solutions discussing which one to buy when the lady next to us recommended Folex. We got it hoping for it to work a little better. I tried it when we got home and was honestly amazed as the stains disappeared before my eyes. I figured it had to have some terrible chemical in it, but all the ingredients were natural and the product is safer than the other carpet cleaners. Seriously, get this stuff, you won;t ever get anything else.

BlueMagic 912 Heavy Foam Carpet Cleaner with Stain Guard - 22 oz. Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Got this foam cleaner for my car's interior carpet and upholstery. I had used several different brands before finding this one, and none of them worked particularly well, but I figured the stains I tried cleaning were too old to completely remove. After getting the Blue Magic Spot Cleaner (5 stars), I decided to try this Blue Magic carpet cleaner.... AND AM GLAD I DID. This removed stains where all of the other cleaners failed. I used this with a separate carpet brush (not the brush on the can top), and not only did it remove plenty of dirt and grime from my carpet (which hadn't been shampooed in 3+ years), but it removed mildew odors from getting wet, and also livened the carpet fibers to look new again. I'll never try another brand again.
