Shark Cordless 3 Speed Sweeper - V1917 - Factory Serviced Review

Works great for quick clean-ups between regular cleanings or in place of vacuuming or sweeping with a broom or mop. Works amazingly well on hard floors & even carpet. Holds its charge well, then no cords, no hoses, just grab, clean dump the dirt in the trash+and go.

Workhorse Commercial Carpet Sweeper Review

Workhorse Commercial Carpet Sweeper

This sweeper does not work very well...
You can push and pull till your blue in the face and your arm hurts on low pile rugs... and on bare floors all it does is push what your trying to pick up ahead of it....
Also the handle tends to pull apart ... directions say to tap it against the floor to tighten the sections together. I tapped them together with a hammer..seems to be holding for now.
Only good thing is you don't have to empty the sweeper too often because it doesn't pick up very well....

Lysol by Conair SC11L Multipurpose Steam-Cleaning System Review

Lysol by Conair SC11L Multipurpose Steam-Cleaning System
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Recently purchased this item latter part of Dec 2007. It's going back as soon as a return authorization is obtained. This unit is big and bulky and does NOT lend itself well to being a very useful "handheld", everyday tool, and I found it's accessories uncomfortable to use. Also, I felt it was slow getting "up to steam" and it felt "heavy" with a full load of water. Additionally, it seemed to not want to work properly when the unit wasn't particularily level. Steam cleaning, in principle, is a great idea, but it seems this product's adaptation and implementation of the principle is not good. Save your money or look elsewhere if you must have a handheld steam cleaning unit; this unit was too expensive and did not work well in this user's opinion.

Leifheit 11410 Leifheit Rotaro S Carpet Sweeper Review

Leifheit 11410 Leifheit Rotaro S Carpet Sweeper
Average Reviews:

As a high-rise condo building manager, I need a good carpet sweeper to clean the carpet hallways in-between weekly vacuuming. Other carpet sweepers I've used took several strokes and still missed lots of bits and pieces, causing me to either go over it again and again like a crazy person or to bend over repeatedly to hand-pick up the small bits of trash. I even tried electric carpet sweepers but they still miss a lot and die after only a few floors. So frustrating!
The Rotaro is the best carpet sweeper I've ever used. It weighs a little more than the rest but it picks up everything the first time and makes my job a thousand times easier! I love it!

Bissell QuickSteamer Multi-Surface Upright Deep Cleaner, 2090 Review

Bissell QuickSteamer Multi-Surface Upright Deep Cleaner, 2090

I go my Quicksteamer last week and spent a day over the weekend cleaning the floors in my condo. I read all of the reviews and did not know what to expect. I was hoping it would do a great job on my carpet and hopefully my wood floors. I have a new puppy so he's been training himself on my carpet a few times. I was almost at the point where I was hoping he would destroy the carpet so I could replace it with wood floors. I looked at a lot of shampooer/steamers and decided that I would go with the Qicksteamer since it does multiple surfaces and small. When I got the box, I was surprise how small the box was. It took me about 3 minutes to put the unit together. It took me longer to get it out of the box. It took me another 5 minutes to figure out and install the hard surface attachment. I was hesitant about how narrow the cleaning surface was but it was compact and light. I started with my bedroom and closet Saturday morning. I dismantled the bed and remove everything from the room. I took over an hour to do all that. I only used hot water and dog urine neutralizer. I had to vacuum and pre-treated a few spots with 409 and a brush. Then I started cleaning. It did a pretty good job with the carpet and the spots that I pre-treated. I was very pleased with the results. For all those people who said it was very wet afterward, I did not have that issue. It was fairly dry right after. I probably took an hour or 2 to completely dry. The small tank was refilled twice and the dirty water tank was emptied twice. It did not get full, it just bubbled a little bit and started spitting out the bubble. I couldn't imagine how bad it would have been if I use the Bissel cleaning formulas. All in all, I was very pleased with the results on the carpet.
I then did the wood floors later that day. I installed the hard surface attachment and used the same hot water/urine neutralizer solution on the wood floors also. I had to sweep the floor first. Then I ran the Quicksteamer on the floors. I was surprise to see how much water was still left on the floor. If you push the unit, there's a lot of water but if you pull, there's less but still more than acceptable. I ended up using a cloth mop afterward to soak up the excess water. I think the Quicksteamer is only a little better than using a cloth mop in that it sprays fresh water on the hard surface but it does not suck it up well enough so you have to go back and mop it up. The hard surface attachment is no more than the scrubber and squeegee part of an auto squeegee. It just blocks the brush from hitting the floor and allow the unit to suck up the water. Disappointed with the hard surface part of the machine.
IMHO, it's a great little unit on carpet but not so great on hard surface.
