Reliable T1 Steamboy Steam Mop Replacement Pads Review

Reliable T1 Steamboy Steam Mop Replacement Pads
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is my 3rd steam cleaner and by far this is the best. The Steamboy is the easiest to use. Just fill up the removable container with water and go, no waiting as the last 2 mops did. The point on the mop helps it get into the corners. I use the steam because I have 4 animals and the steamboy cleaner leaves my floor sanitized without using chemicals.

H2O Coral Steam Mop Pad Review

H2O Coral Steam Mop Pad
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased these for a Steamboy steam mop to replace the standard microfiber pads that come with it. These are much sturdier, holding up better than the original pads that tend to pull apart at the seams. I also think that the longer fibers clean better getting into grout and corners far better than the standard ones. My primary complaint is that both versions have a poor fastening system and tend to pull off the steam mop while using it. It would be nice if the manufacturer would design a better closure system that would hold onto the head of the mop. I would have given this a four star review if the design was better. Unfortunately, I have not found any other steam mop pads that fit better so there is not much choice.

Although this seems like an accessory that I could have done without, I am very, very please how useful this tool is. It does a better job of picking up debris where the wall and the carpet meeting. I also used it with Absorb carpet cleaner. In the past I was not able to get all of the carpet cleaner up, but I can when I use this tool.

Febreze Fabric Refresher & Odor Eliminator, Unscented Gallon Review

Febreze Fabric Refresher and Odor Eliminator, Unscented Gallon
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
It was advertised as unscented. However, the bottle says fresh clean scent, and "perfume" is listed in the ingredients. The scent is still just as powerful as regular store bought Febreze. Also note, as I found out after purchasing this, Febreze's FAQ states that they do not offer an unscented fabric refresher.

Euro-Pro Shark Hand Held Cordless Sweeper Review

Euro-Pro Shark Hand Held Cordless Sweeper

The piece is basically a brush that collects all the hair on its bristles. I would say the brush is worth 2$ and that is all the product should be sold for. The electrical part of it is totally useless. There is the dirty job of removing hte hair from the bristles to clean. Very icky. Don't buy this.

Vapor Clean TR 5 Pro 100% Stainless Steel Steam Cleaner Review

Vapor Clean TR 5 Pro 100% Stainless Steel Steam Cleaner
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this steamer and used it for about 2 weeks and then it leaked huge puddles of water all over my hard wood floors. I called the company and they told me to return it for repair. I did and they kept it for a month before returning it to me. I used it for another week and the same thing happened. I returned it and they kept it for another 2 months before returning it to me. Once again it leaked. I asked them to please replace it with a new one. They sent a new one a month later, and it leaked just like the first. I asked for my money back and they refused because it was over the three month period. I paid over $700.00 for it and it was like throwing money away. I feel like they stole my money. I recommend that you stay clear from this company! Shame on them!

Euroflex Monster Floor Steam Cleaner EZ2 w/Clean Blast Review

Euroflex Monster Floor Steam Cleaner EZ2 w/Clean Blast
Average Reviews:

I like the way this steamer cleans my floors. But with that said... it is a TOTAL waste of money!!
After the 1 year warranty expired ( basically to the day) the handle broke. Called Euroflex customer service, ha - service not !, to bad i was told. So after i already invested $$$ on the darn steamer, i shelled out another $30 for a new handle. AND was promised how much better the NEW handle on EZ2 was, lie, lie, lie. 3 months after using new handle, new improved handle snaps, called customer NOT service again, will replace handle BUT no warranty, will not stand behind product and basically told me to buy a new one next time. Sure, i'll shell out another $120+, $$ for pads and customer service that does not stand behind their product ! Euroflex must thk US consumers are morons!

Euroflex SC60 Review

Euroflex SC60
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this from Sam's online for 89.00 I believe. It was shipped in a beat up cardboard box (not new in box). When I opened the tank, I noticed it had water in it (once again, used/refurbished). I called Sam's and they are returning it, as it was sold to me "new".
Anyway, with all that said, I found it to be a good steamer for the cost. It only took 5 min to heat up, and the pressure was great (at first)! It blasted away all the dust on my baseboards (they look like new), and steamed my hardwood floors and tile great, without any mop up at all! The detail nozzle got my grout really clean!!! However, that did require lots of mop up!
Pros: Easy to use, lightweight, low noise on motor, hot water, great pressure at first.
Cons: Not many tools (need one a bit bigger than detail nozzle), short cord (use extension), Pressure seems to lack after repeated use (this is very noticeable). Made in UK (parts are only available overseas)
Now, I don't know how much of the lack of pressure resulted in the fact that I apparently bought a used version.
I think I am going to try another steamer solely based on the availablity of parts. I may get stuck with it if it breaks after a period of time and I am not going to pay overseas shipping!

The Universal Rug Rake Review

The Universal Rug Rake
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is a great invention for pet owners. It works well, but the angle at which the handle is mounted causes the rake head to 'jump' as it is scraped across the carpet. To avoid this, you must tilt the rake up at an angle that utilizes only about 20% of the rake head's surface. It is, however, a handy tool for quick pick-ups.

Leifheit 11410 Leifheit Rotaro S Carpet Sweeper Review

Leifheit 11410 Leifheit Rotaro S Carpet Sweeper
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
As a high-rise condo building manager, I need a good carpet sweeper to clean the carpet hallways in-between weekly vacuuming. Other carpet sweepers I've used took several strokes and still missed lots of bits and pieces, causing me to either go over it again and again like a crazy person or to bend over repeatedly to hand-pick up the small bits of trash. I even tried electric carpet sweepers but they still miss a lot and die after only a few floors. So frustrating!
The Rotaro is the best carpet sweeper I've ever used. It weighs a little more than the rest but it picks up everything the first time and makes my job a thousand times easier! I love it!

Kirby Lickity Split Review

Kirby Lickity Split
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I just used this Lickity Split on my friends carpet - her daughter spilt almost the whole bottle of dark purple nail polish - the carpet was ruined! They tried nail polish remover, water and rubbing alchohol etc to no avail. So, wasn't too worried about the 'test on hidden area of carpet first' warning. We totally soaked each blemish (after it has hardened in the carpet for a couple weeks), and rubbed with a towel once it had soaked in. Miraculous recovery, and may save them loosing their deposit on their lease! Ordering 3 more bottles!

WhiteWing Steamer - Vapor Steam Cleaner Review

WhiteWing Steamer - Vapor Steam Cleaner
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
When I moved into this place the renter moving out told me, "You'll never get the kitchen and bathroom clean." I got out the bleach and went to town -- no effect on these old tile counters. When I tried this vapour cleaner, I felt like I was making my own infommercial the results were so dramatic. Some workmen left marks on the vinyl floor last year that I couldn't even identify, let alone get up; adhesive was my best guess. The WhiteWing got them up like they were just pencil marks. I couldn't stop cleaning til the tank ran out (and house work isn't my strong suit!). Highly recommended! (Note: this is my first steam cleaner, so can't compare to other brands).

Hoky PowerRotor PR3000 Sweeper Review

Hoky PowerRotor PR3000 Sweeper
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I use my heavy Hoover self-propelled vacuum once or twice a week. It does a superb job deep-cleaning and lifting the fibres of my carpets. At all other times between vacuuming I use the Hoky (what a misnomer!!!) for cleanups.
Over the years, I have tried many other types of "mini-cleaners" including several rechargeable and 120 volt. These include stick cleaners and hand-held cleaners, several with power nozzles.
Cleanup varies from poor to adequate with all of these. AND the rechargeable batteries never seem to last very long until they will not hold a decent charge - then the batteries cost as much as the whole cleaner to replace. Also 120v cleaners require a convenient outlet and their power cords to be released then rewound after use. The ones with small dirt containers need to be emptied and their small filters usually need to be brushed off and washed after each use if their (often feeble) suction is to remain effective.
The Hoky is always ready to use and does a first rate job of picking up all regular debris tracked in the house - including pet hair and fur. It works equally well on wood floors, laminate floors, ceramic tiles and carpeting - picking dirt up in one pass and requiring minimal effort to push (unless carpet pile is particularly plush). It will even clean wet floors - instead of a brush, it has a "RotorBlade" (a spindle with rubber squeegees) - which works well for small liquid spills. Emptying the 2 dirt pans is very straightforward; there are no filters to clog and the rotorblade seems to clean itself of hair and fur.
One Hoky and one heavy vacuum (per floor maybe?) is all you need to keep your floors free of dirt and debris at all times with minimal effort. None of the other "mini cleaners" I have used have done a better job AND all of them are less convenient.
Just remember to park the Hoky horizontally (or empty it before parking it) to avoid dumping dirt next time you start to use it. OR wait until the next "unbeliever" needs a demonstration. Just one or two passes and it will all be picked up again.

Bissell 2100 Sweeper Review

Bissell 2100 Sweeper
Average Reviews:

This particular item has been a life saver for me. I have two pets that have messy shredded aspen bedding and pet hair that gets outside of the cage a lot. It tends to clog vacuums. This product picks it up well with no clogging. It picks up other small messes also. It takes a little effort though, sweeping back and forth. Still think its worth not ruining the vacuum.

This Hoky replaces the original bought decades ago. With one exception, quality is every bit as good. The exception is the handle, which comes in two pieces for compact packaging and shipping - it it makes using it just a little wobbly. Not a deal breaker, just not quite as good as the original. The rest of the mechanics are rock solid and it really cleans. I will get one for my office, too!

Swiffer Carpet Flick Carpet Sweeper Starter Kit , 1 kit Review

Swiffer Carpet Flick Carpet Sweeper Starter Kit , 1 kit
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am a big fan of Swiffer products. I use the Wet Jet and Dusters almost daily. When I saw this item at the store, I was skeptical. It didn't really look like it would work that good. But it was on sale, so I bought it. I put it together (pushing the pole together was kind of hard) fairly easily. I inserted the cartridge. (My house mainly has laminate hard wood floors and just a little carpet. I bought the Flick for in between vacuumings.) I rolled it along the carpet and it really didn't pick up that much. I tried it on the laminate though and it picked up all the dust and crumbs that my toddler had made during his recent snack. (Note: the box says not to use on hard wood or laminate floors.) It worked really well on the laminate, similar to a broom. The bottom has two small 'brushes' that would stop it from scratching the floor, so I am not sure why the box advises against using it on that type of flooring. Overall, this is not that great of a product for carpet. I like it for my other flooring though. If you have a broom and a vacuum though, I wouldn't waste any more money just to have the Flick.

Miele STB 205-3 Turbo Plus Power Nozzle Attachment Review

Miele STB 205-3 Turbo Plus Power Nozzle Attachment
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Miele vacuum cleaner is already a substantial investment, but I recommend the turbobrush for those models that don't come with one. It's an especially useful add-on for those with pets, because the regular-head does only a fair job of picking up our golden retriever's shedded hair. I could just manage it by tipping the regular brush, but this is not nearly as effective as the Turbo. The Turbo rotates extremely fast (sorry, but the company supplies no specs on how fast), and has longer, more effective brushes to scoop up pet hair and any other kind of debris. This model (205-3) fits Miele vaccums only, but Model STB 201 Vario's adapter enables Turbo to attach to non-Miele vaccums with suction tubes that are between 30 and 38 mm. One other note: There's no storage cover; in fact, this one was not even wrapped in plastic for protection during transit. However, there was no damage.
The rugs look noticeably cleaner with the Turbo, as the brushes also tend to fluff them for more effective vacuuming of debris. The difference is most noticeable on medium to heavy shag rugs. There's one adjustment, a "slide" that you push to one side when going over heavy pile. The Turbo head adds a little of its own noise, a steady, non-annoying WHIRRRR as it speeds around. It's light enough to lift onto furniture that needs cleaning. The instructions (which come in 14 languages) show how to remove hair, thread, etc. stubbornly caught on the brushes--either by cutting them away at the opening, or by removing the cover and either cutting or pulling manually. The instructions also include the line, "Do not use on people or animals," a certain ice-breaker at your next social function.
Overall, I'd recommend this as an immediate purchase for those with pets that shed (or get a model that comes with the Turbo). Otherwise, you may wish to wait and see whether the Miele on its own does a satisfactory job.
