(More customer reviews)I searched all over the internet to find carpet shampoo that was scent free. I finally found this Kirby product. I had never heard of Kirby and couldn't find any reviews, but I thought I would give it a chance.
I'm happy I took a chance with this product. I am using it with my Hoover MaxExtract Dual V. Hoover recommends using their brand of shampoo, but they didn't have an unscented product. The unscented Kirby works very well. It has a very slight odor. I'm not sure how to describe it other than it say it smells "clean." I have an elderly dog who is known for pooping on my carpet at times and this shampoo whisks the smell away. I cannot say whether this product removes urine odors since my dog doesn't have bladder incontinence. My carpet also became visibly cleaner after using this product (although, this is probably a function of the carpet cleaner and the shampoo combined).
I recommend this product to anyone who is sensitive to fragrances. It's more expensive than other shampoos, but definitely worth it to me to avoid a headache.
