(More customer reviews)I purchased this product at a chain pet food company, not expecting any better results than I'd gotten from other products of this type. Our carpet is olefin, and not supposed to stain. This spray not only smells great and removes odor, but it removed two year old stains from vomit after a pet's battle with cancer. It even worked through the multitude of solutions I had tried on the same places in the carpet, even after Stanley Steemer tried twice. The loss of the pet was horrific and the stains were a constant reminder. I cannot say how it would work on nylon carpet, but I do highly recommend trying it.

Does not cause any discoloration on rugs or fabric. Has a nice scent. Would recommend, which is why I puchased the large bottle after trying the smaller one.

(More customer reviews)My son was sick over Christmas and "tossed his cookies" on the couch in our TV room. We worked very hard to clean things up, but an unpleasant odor lingered, in spite of washing the area and using Febreeze many times. I ordered this based on the reviews, but due to our vacation, we couldn't use it right away. When we returned home 2 weeks following the issue, the odor was still there (hoped that time would make it better -- but no). My husband applied this stuff to the effected cushions while I was at work, and by the time I returned home, viola, the odor had disappeared. Given the fact that we used this long after the incident occurred and it still worked, I feel good recommending it for similar challenges. Good to have on hand with a toddler and/or pets!

(More customer reviews)It's important to thoroughly soak the area in order to remove the odor to avoid a repeat performance and occasionally you may have to repeat the process, but when the area is completely dry, the odor will definitely be gone. This product also works extremely well on stains -- all stains. I've been able to remove old set in stains on carpet and clothes and always take a small amount with me in a tiny travel bottle to remove any stains from clothes from food or drink spills. I've also found that by adding it to my washing machine along with detergent, my laundry comes out virtually stain free.

People come over after I have cleaned with it and I always ask if it smells ok and they say they don't smell anything. THe review above is lame because it has nothing to do with the product.

(More customer reviews)I've had pretty good luck with this product when I've needed to use it. Following the directions on the bottle, I've managed to get the cat urine odor out of clothing, carpeting, etc. The downside is that the cleaner itself smells pretty wretched. I often feel like it smells worse than the stain I'm cleaning. The smell does fade in a day or so, and the cat urine smell disappears with it,however, so that is at worst a temporary concern.

I do not own a pet, but have a 9yr old who recently developed a bed wetting habit and who often falls asleep on the sofa...which of course does not have removable cushions or covers that can be washed. I had tried everything..including small shampooers..but nothing was really able to get that tell-tell odor of urine out of the cushions, and even used bleach based cleaners on the mattress, which also left a faint urine smell behind. However, this took care of everything...almost immediately! It has a very pleasant, light aroma, and a little goes a long way. I have treated both the sofa and her bed completely, and have used only about 1/5 of the bottle. Within a few hours the urine smell was gone..and now I can have company over again without the worry :)
