(More customer reviews)I am a fan of the original Anti-Icky-Poo. However, it is heavily scented, and when I have to spray a large area, the scent is overpowering.
Enter the *unscented* Anti-Icky-Poo. Wow! What an improvement. I can spray to my heart's content and urine odor is gone within a day or two. It really works to eat up odors, not mask it. Believe me, my nose can tell whether a spot has been sprayed or not.
I usually use a Bissell SpotBot Hands-Free Compact Deep Carpet Cleaner, 1200B and follow up with this spray. It works without Spotbot (my husband just sprays), but I like to clean as much urine out as possible before spraying.
This review is for the gallon refill, which does not come with a spray bottle. You must buy the smaller spray bottle or use your own spray bottle and refill with this solution. I only buy the gallon bottles, because we go through so much of it. (Bad dog!)

(More customer reviews)Bought this product at our local animal shelter...it worked GREAT! Tried most big box pet store products that worked only marinally on only one aspect of the problem. Old stains, new spots/odors, it cleaned like a charm. Since we have a companion pet with separation-anxiety issues that result in occasional inappropriate urnination, I thought why not buy sufficient stock that we won't run out often. Well, sorry to say, this does not work anywhere near as well as what I bought from the shelter. It was nearly ineffectual, something just short of using water alone. Most of the success was dut to my own laboring over the stains. I am thinking it is a knock-off. Very disappointed.

(More customer reviews)This is the best idea ever- plus it makes cleaning up cat-pee spots kinda fun! the only trouble I had was with the syringe nozzle I just cut it down a bit (not too much!) when it got kind of crimped.
Absolutely a must for under the carpet cleaning- even worked on my pacific coast down featherbed (Yep, kitty peed there too) I am pleased to report- I love that thing. I used this syringe, Anti Icky Poo! Starter Kit, andFeliway (75mL) Spray and so far so good- also finding that interactive playtime is extremely helpful for my littl pee-er's bonding w/me.

(More customer reviews)We have very sensitive noses when it comes to cat urine and tried MANY other products that didn't remove all the smell. Anti Icky Poo did. It has a clean, shower-fresh scent, not a perfumey type one that tries to mask odors.
We had to call the product's customer support for extra assistance, because one spot was extra stubborn. They were *very* informative and helpful. The advice they gave was to deep-treat it by first applying the solution as directed then putting a wet towel and a plastic bucket over the area to keep it working and not dry out for about a week. We did that and the smell was ABSOLUTELY gone after trying for six months previously. I am now a lifelong fan & if the problem ever occurs again, I now know exactly what to do.

(More customer reviews)I really didn't want this to work so I could get brand new carpet under the manufacturers warranty. The first time I used it I didn't think it worked...I got it off ebay and the sprayer was a joke so I had to get a new bottle. I thought this left grease looking stains on the carpet and I called the Co. Mister Max and they said that's never happen in all the years they've been making this. So, I got a really good spray bottle and mixed it with a little water. Sprayed it on all the spots and in the morning I had my husband walk in the room (which he is normally bowled over with the cat pee smell and fusses about it) and I asked "well, does it smell?" and he said wow no it doesn't, laid on the floor and said " what did you do?!?!"
I spent so much on feliway diffusers and I think that's a waste of money for my cats and I will have to keep up with the comfort zone spray (that's the only thing that works) and the anti icky poo because it totally takes away the smell! Use a black light when you're doing the treatment.
