(More customer reviews)Believe me....This is the best stuff I've ever found for animal odors. You simply spray and walk away. Yes, it's that easy. It will neutralize the animal odors in those corners your male cat focuses on. It also removes the major stains you have on carpet. Just spray it on, rub it in gently (for those bad stains) and then it's clean. Or you may have to do it twice if needed. It's just amazing that it cleans up dark stains on light carpet like I have. One thing I have to say is WASH YOUR HANDS afterwards or the enzymes start going after your fingers from rubbing it in the carpet. Although my daughter said she doesn't have that problem. But really, it's great stuff and I think it's what you've been looking for.

Anti Icky Poo Starter Kit Review

(More customer reviews)We had problem with cat urine in a home we purchased. We removed the baseboards to reveal the marked areas. We treated the areas, according to directions three different times. It only worked in a few places were there was only light cat odor. It did not help with the more saturated areas where the cat had marked. We treated by spraying the walls, base boards and carpet. We even injected the product into the carpet....three different occasions. It has been a month now and we can still smell the cat urine. Looks like we will have to invest in more expensive repairs. I would not recomend this product for purpose of getting rid of cat urine odor.

(More customer reviews)I am a fan of the original Anti-Icky-Poo. However, it is heavily scented, and when I have to spray a large area, the scent is overpowering.
Enter the *unscented* Anti-Icky-Poo. Wow! What an improvement. I can spray to my heart's content and urine odor is gone within a day or two. It really works to eat up odors, not mask it. Believe me, my nose can tell whether a spot has been sprayed or not.
I usually use a Bissell SpotBot Hands-Free Compact Deep Carpet Cleaner, 1200B and follow up with this spray. It works without Spotbot (my husband just sprays), but I like to clean as much urine out as possible before spraying.
This review is for the gallon refill, which does not come with a spray bottle. You must buy the smaller spray bottle or use your own spray bottle and refill with this solution. I only buy the gallon bottles, because we go through so much of it. (Bad dog!)

(More customer reviews)Don't do what I did and use every OTHER product under the sun to remove cat pee. You are wasting your time, money, and effort. This stuff works. Thanks to my vet's recommendation I have finally found the real solution. If you have done what I did and already used other cleansers be sure to use the P-Bath first before applying the Anti Icky Poo, which makes this Pro Kit perfect. It comes with everything you need...the P-Bath, Anti-Icky Poo, spay bottles, refills, even the carpet injector (which is essential if you can't lift up your carpet!). It's an incredible value. Even if it seems overkill you'll end up using it. The affected areas need to be saturated and if you have cats you'll need to check walls for "spray." This stuff can be sprayed on walls too. In fact it can be used just about anywhere...even on wood. If using a black-light to search out accidents, according to Anti Icky Poo's AWESOME customer service who actually called me on the phone within 10 minutes of receiving an email from me with a question, not all black-lights are created equal. Even when using the best some areas can be missed, so they recommend, and I agree, that the best idea is to get a pump sprayer (like a garden sprayer) and just spray everything...the carpet or whatever. Treat areas you know about specifically and spray a "top coat" on everything else just in case you missed an area your pet will want to return to. If you don't have lots of pet pee to deal with, either now or in the future, it can be used for any kind of odor removal. Of course it works for dogs and other kinds of pets too, but some people use it in their laundry, the kitchen, bathrooms, garbage cans, etc.... The uses are practically endless and it doesn't get old. As far as I'm concerned the Pro Kit is a "no-brainer." Once you use one gallon you'll be back for more and if purchased separately...well...you see what I mean.

(More customer reviews)Bought this product at our local animal shelter...it worked GREAT! Tried most big box pet store products that worked only marinally on only one aspect of the problem. Old stains, new spots/odors, it cleaned like a charm. Since we have a companion pet with separation-anxiety issues that result in occasional inappropriate urnination, I thought why not buy sufficient stock that we won't run out often. Well, sorry to say, this does not work anywhere near as well as what I bought from the shelter. It was nearly ineffectual, something just short of using water alone. Most of the success was dut to my own laboring over the stains. I am thinking it is a knock-off. Very disappointed.

(More customer reviews)Of course, this is the kind of product you're slightly embarassed to admit you need, but if you have cat(s) you inevitably will.
This product does take care of odor and works really well on carpets. Contrary to the manufacturer's claim, it will not reverse cat pee damage to fabric and wood (the bleach and dye effect), but we all knew that was too good to be true, didn't we?
We've found that if you saturate the area, let it dry for a LONG time--like several days--treat it again, and then clean the carpet, it does remove the (ahem) evidence. In our house it seems to remove all of it, but we're not unusually sensitive. I suppose if you're really nose-conscious, you wouldn't have cats in the first place.
I recommend buying it in gallons, because it takes a lot of product to treat an area. I also recommend buying a small pump sprayer (ACE Hardware, about seven dollars), because a spray bottle neither covers evenly, nor holds enough.
I wish I could train the cats to do it themselves.

(More customer reviews)We have very sensitive noses when it comes to cat urine and tried MANY other products that didn't remove all the smell. Anti Icky Poo did. It has a clean, shower-fresh scent, not a perfumey type one that tries to mask odors.
We had to call the product's customer support for extra assistance, because one spot was extra stubborn. They were *very* informative and helpful. The advice they gave was to deep-treat it by first applying the solution as directed then putting a wet towel and a plastic bucket over the area to keep it working and not dry out for about a week. We did that and the smell was ABSOLUTELY gone after trying for six months previously. I am now a lifelong fan & if the problem ever occurs again, I now know exactly what to do.
