Charlie's Soap Indoor/Outdoor Surface Cleaner, Concentrated, 128-Fluid Ounce Review

I have tried so many eco-green cleaners and really have only liked Mrs. Meyers, Ecover and (gasp) Clorox Green products. This product claims to clean anything from false teeth to diesel engines and it's probably true! As for its scent and harshness, the scent is a very light, quickly dissipating fragrance which reminds me of Fantastic. As for harshness, I did not wear gloves but probably should have ONLY because some of the greasy stuff went under a couple of fingernails. After normal washing and rinsing of my hands, I did not notice any dryness or irritation. I haven't tried this product on windows, so I can't comment on that, but this spray is EXCELLENT for cleaning an outdoor grill, indoor oven and baked on foodstuff inside my stainless convection microwave oven. On my misnomer self-cleaning oven, I sprayed, waited, wiped and sprayed again until it was like brand new w/ minimal use of elbow grease. AMAZING. I will be giving Simple Green and several other heavy duty cleaners away to neighbors as this IS definitely the ONLY general spray cleaner I will need to use. I also have ordered one gallon of their liquid laundry soap. It is so refreshing to find a product that is environmentally safe, made in USA (NC), and actually cleans as claimed. I hope they expand their product line in the future.

OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover Chlorine Free 8.5 Lbs. By Church & Dwight Co Review

OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover Chlorine Free 8.5 Lbs. By Church and Dwight Co

I give Oxiclean a 5 star for performance! Before I discovered it I was using a bleach and it was eating up my towels, my husbands tee shirts and discoloring his dark clothes.
He is a mechanic and gets VERY dirty! I would use the bleach to get out his stains but there were still some left and his clothes were getting wear holes sooner than what they should have.
I tried a small bucket of Oxiclean that I purchased from Amazon.com. I just put a cup of Oxiclean, a cup of All powdered detergent (that I also purchase from Amazon.com) and a cup of Arm & Hammer baking soda, set the machine on hot water and medium water level load, shut it off and let it soak for a couple of hours. When I re-start the machine I put the water level back up to full load and let it wash.
My husband wears navy blue work pants and the pant legs were becoming dark stained all down the front. It only took 1 washing to loosen the stains and they were completely gone with the 2nd wash!
I do the same procedure with his hand towels and tee shirts. I swear he would clean off parts with the towels before I got them to wash! The clothing and towels are lasting a lot longer and are spotless now. I am proud of my laundry now!
I'll never wash without it again!!
Thanks,
Willow

Biokleen Bac-out Stain & Odor Eliminator, 4-Count Review

Biokleen Bac-out Stain and Odor Eliminator, 4-Count

Bac-Out is the best stain remover I've found, for food stains (including coffee stains, and any other staining substance produced by a living organism...which includes kids :). It's also non-toxic and easy on your clothes (it eats away the stains, not the clothes).
It's NOT a general cleaner (Bio-kleen makes those too, but this isn't the same thing). I've used this to remove stains that nothing else will get out (other than straight Chlorine Bleach, but you can't use that on non-white stuff, and it's toxic and the process that makes Chlorine release massive quantities of Mercury into the environment).
Also, for this to work on a stain, you should use it BEFORE you wash and dry it...that usually kills off the organic material and sets in the stain (at which point nothings going to get it out except chlorine bleach :P ).
