(More customer reviews)The original parquet brush with an even line of stiff bristles caught the dust but just moved larger debris along the floor. This new brush is a great redesign, perfect for hardwood floors. The bristles are spaced alternating high and low allowing the necessary airspace to capture more than just dust. The head rotates easily for access to those difficult to reach places. However, it does nothing but floors, and since most people have a rug & floor combination it becomes just one more vacuum head that you have to haul around.
Don't get me wrong, if you care about your hardwood floors ,this is a keeper. I am buying another for my second vacuum cleaner.
Perfect would be a re-introduction of the original combination tool with rotating head that cleaned rugs and didn't scratch the heck out of hardwood floors.
Although Miele purports to love communication from consumers, they have never answered any of the emails I've sent suggesting that they re-introduce the original combination tool.
